Detecting serum antibodies (IgM and IgG) to Borrelia Burgdorferi as well as the presence of Babesia, Anaplasma and Ehrlichia species in whole blood specimens.

If Lyme screen is positive, confirmation will be performed at an additional charge.

Specimen Collection and Handling

1. Draw blood in either a plain red-top or serum gel tube.

2. Spin down and remove from clot and send 1.0 mL serum refrigerated.

3. Draw 1 lavender top (EDTA) and send whole blood specimen.
