Specimen Collection and Handling
1. Send whole blood at ambient temperature.
2. Tube MUST be labelled with full name of patient (Last, First [Do not use nicknames]), date of birth and /or identification number, date of collection, and initials of person drawing specimen.
3. Two 7.0 mL tubes should be submitted for the initial titer sample. Follow-up titer samples only require one 7.0 mL tube.
