SWAB: Place swab specimen into 3.0 mL of saline or 0.5 - 3.0 mL UTM.
WASH:3.0 mL of nasopharyngeal wash.
To Process:
Send refrigerated and maintain sterility.
Rejection Information
Any collection site other than Nasopharyngeal.
Mid-Turbinate collection is not acceptable.
