Specimen Collection and Handling
1. Place specimen on wet ice immediately after collection.
2. Deliver sample to the laboratory immediately.
3. If not to be tested immediately, spin specimen and separate plasma from cells within 15 minutes of collection.
4. Send sample frozen on dry ice.
