Specimen Collection and Handling
Do not use lithium heparin, ACD, or EDTA tubes. Assay must be set up within 30 hours of specimen collection. Specimens received after 30 hours are not acceptable for testing. Maintain specimen at room temperature (ie, 18°C to 28°C) only. Specimen stable 30 hours; >30 hours specimen not viable. Do not refrigerate or freeze specimen.
