Aiding in the detection of hepatitis B viral (HBV) infection and acquisition of immunity whether by natural HBV infection or through vaccination.
This test is not recommended for patients under 4 weeks of age.

Reference Values
Non-Reactive and Reactive with quantitative results
Non-Reactive (< 10.00 mIU/mL) - Individual is considered not immune to HBV infection.
Reactive (≥ 10.00 mIU/mL) - Individual is considered immune to HBV infection.
Both Quantitative and Qualitative results will be reported.
