Specimen Collection and Handling

1. Draw blood in one yellow-top (ACD) tube, either ACD solution A or ACD solution B.

2. Send whole blood at ambient temperature only.

3. DO NOT REFRIGERATE OR FREEZE.

Specimen must be received at the NorDx Scarborough facility by midnight Friday to guarantee processing within 48 hours of collection.

Do not collect specimen on Friday afternoon for Saturday arrival at the NorDx Scarborough location or before a holiday weekend.
