Analytic time for send out tests is the time it will take to perform testing once it has arrived at the performing reference lab. 1. Patient must avoid having radioisotope scan prior to collection of specimen.

2. If tube other than a gel-barrier tube is used, transfer separated serum or plasma to a plastic transport tube.

To Process: Spin specimen, separate from clot and send refrigerated.
