Specimen Collection and Handling

1. No preservative.

2. Collect a 24 hour urine specimen (The urine container may be kept at room temperature or refrigerated during collection).

To Process:

1. Mix sample well and record 24-hour volume prior to aliquoting.

2. Aliquot and freeze the sample for shipment to performing reference laboratory.
