Specimen Collection and Handling
1. Draw blood no sooner than 2 hours post ingestion.
2. Spin down and send either serum or plasma refrigerated.
3. In cases of suspected overdose, draw blood 4 hours post ingestion and at 8 hour intervals thereafter until concentration is <50 ug/mL.
